Schools Out for Summer: The Neurodiversity Dilemma
With the school year coming to a close–everybody is heading into transition. Whether you’re excited or scared shitless, listen up because we’re gonna talk through all the different end of school year transitions, frustrations, and coping skills this summer will require for both children AND adults. In this last episode of season 2, Molly and Angela announce that they will take the summer off and return after the school year starts again later in August.
Meet Angela
SENSORY STRATEGIST + INTERSECTIONAL OCTOPUS
A true octopus--Angela harmonizes all those brains and hearts to help individuals and organizations cultivate safe and creative spaces for neurodivergent and queer communities. Her intersectional approach to--well everything--gives humans everywhere the skills, spaces, and confidence to advocate for themselves and each other.
As a neurodivergent, genderqueer, queer, woman, and military spouse, Angela has never "fit" in the box. Honestly--she grabs that box, examines it to find its true form, and encourages it to be the amorphous blob it really is--because every space has the potential to support all its inhabitants.
When not nurturing amorphous blobs, Angela can be found researching all the things, playing D&D with her family, and killing zombies.
Meet Molly
BUSINESS STRATEGIST + SQUEAKY VELOCIRAPTOR
Air Force Veteran turned International Brand Strategist--Molly is one badass dude. Her cookie-cutter free approach to business has helped entrepreneurs world-wide revolutionize the way they think about running their businesses.
As a neurodivergent demi-girl, Molly challenges the status quo on parenting, business-ing, and well--pretty much everything else. When over (and under) whelmed by her emotions, her Tourette's brings out the squeaky velociraptor within.
When not challenging her community to be more accepting of the human experience, Molly can be found drinking Moscato, playing Pokemon Go with her nerdy-ass family, and soaking in the tub.
